I don't think I've ever seen people as passionately angry as the commenter on a Jalopnik article linking a video where someoneis in the left lane. They are always, always going too slowly somehow.

if you're not in the way, keep in the left lane all you want, but I think it's perfectly acceptable to nudge people in the left lane out of the way. i'd be a fan of a tier'd license system where a person would have to pass a test every year for left lane privileges.

You can't use the left lane for anything except over-taking.

Gotta turn left? no problem, wait till the last moment then cut across all the lanes of traffic. Test the reaction times of other drivers by failing to indicate.

I do not like them either. Is it worth getting upset over? I think not. My day is usually comprised of much more serious problems to deal with than that.
